Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament
June 21st
It Was AGreat Day At Malibu Country Club.
Father Donie (above with Jim Salz) won a closest to the pin with a 177 yard shot over water and made the put for a birdie!
Ed Sullivan's team won the tournament with a net 57 and the Munguia team came in second with a 60.
Anthony Wihlborg won the long drive.
David Chang with Dennis Hinman's group won a closest to the pin.
Mark Miller helped on the drink cart and also played in the tournanment.
Ray Mortorff helped with the drink cart and Jack Akerblom helped with check in along with Tim who also hauled the signs back to the church.
Knights who played golf included Dennis Hinman, Bill La Belle, Tom Yaeger, Dave Daigle and Anthony Wihlborg.
It was fun to have Father Donie participate.
A special thanks also to Richard Garzilli for trying to keep track of all the finances.
Thanks to Tim for buying and bringing the refreshements; Nigel for bringing additional box lunches, driving the drink cart and signing up another foursome.
